  1. VISTUR (Simple Tourism VISIM/ Multiple VISMUL/ Multiple VISMUL-Business Visa)

 

1.1.      Visa Fee

 

–           Indian Nationals: US $50.- (VISIM) / US $81.- (VISMUL) / US $81.-(VISMUL-Business Visa)

–           Bangladeshi Nationals: US$10.- (VISIM)/ US$10.-(VISMUL)/US$- (Not Applicable VISMUL-Business Visa)

–           Nepalese Nationals: US$40.-(VISIM)/US$100.-(VISMUL)/US$- (Not Applicable VISMUL-Business Visa)

–           Sri Lankan Nationals: US$30.-(VISIM)/US$30.-(VISMUL)/US$- (Not Applicable VISMUL-Business Visa)

 

1.2.      Requirements

 

–           Original valid passport (front and last page, with the validity of at least 6 months).

 

–           Covering letter stating briefly about the reason behind the travel to Chile.

 

–           To and fro flight tickets (tentative).

 

–           Contact in Chile: Original Invitation letter/ Sponsorship in original from Chile,    duly signed with name, address, telephone, etc., of the person to be contacted, and letter head , when the invitation letter comes from the company. The document should be duly notarized and legalized by the Ministry of External Affairs of Chile. Invitation through e-mail not accepted.

 

–           Letter of recommendation from the organization where the applicant is working.          Membership certificate/Recommendation letter from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (eg. FICCI, CII, FIEO, I.T.P.O, etc.) / Export Promotion Council  etc., wherever applicable.

 

–           Documentary proof of financial soundness of the applicant (Applicable in case of tourists).

–           Hotel booking details ( Applicable in case of tourists ).

 

–           Copy of valid visas ( if any ) / previous visaofUSA, UK, Schengen, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Chile.

 

–           VISMUL/VISMUL- BUSINESS: The duration of the stay starts from the date of the first entry in the Chilean territory. Category of visa only applicable to Indian nationals.

 

  1. VISCONTI (Visa subject to Contract- Nominee)

 

2.1.      Visa Fee

 

–           Indian Nationals: US$147.-

–           Bangladeshi Nationals: US$10.-

–           Nepalese Nationals: US$100.-

–           Sri Lankan Nationals: US$200.-

 

2.2.      Requirements

–           Original valid passport (front and last page, with the validity of at least 6 months).

 

–           Covering letter stating briefly about the reason behind the travel to Chile.

–           Contact in Chile: Original Invitation letter/ Sponsorship in original from Chile, duly signed with name, address, telephone, etc., of the person to be contacted, and letter head , when the invitation letter comes from the company. The document should be duly notarized and legalized by the Ministry of External Affairs of Chile. Invitation through e-mail not accepted.

 

 

–           Work Contract:This must be pursuant to what stipulated in Art. No.37 of Immigration Regulation and signed by the employer before a Notary Public (the contract should not be signed by the employee). Clauses relating to the implementation of second-order tax, social security contributions and return tickets for employee and family members must necessarily be included.

–           Background check certificate issued by the relevant local authority (emission should not exceed 6 months).

 

–           Official medical certificate, stamped and signed, preferably from a Medical center, Clinique or a known hospital (Emission should not exceed 6 months, no specific tests are required, please do not attach HIV tests).

3.2.      Requirements

***IMPORTANT***

 

–           Approval of the visa applications could take uptill 15 working days, from the date of registration of their On-Line application in the platformCitizen AtentionSAC (https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl)

 

–           Once the visa has been approved, the applicant has 90 days to make the respective payment and collect the Passport.

–           Once the visa is issued, the applicant has 90 days to enter the national territory of Chile.

 

–           All fees have 10% extra dollar difference charges and are payable only in Indian Rupees based on the Consular Exchange Rate fixed   for every month by the Consular Section.  This fee  (in cash) is to be remitted and deposited in the account of the official bank of the Consular Office , only on the date of issue of Visa after duly authorized by the Consular Section.

 

–           Application by post will not be accepted.

 

–           For outstation applicants (other than those residing in Delhi and surrounding areas), personal presence may be waived off, among others subject to producing an AUTHORITY LETTER in the form of POWER OF ATTORNEY duly notarized by a Notary where the applicant is residing.

 

–           The above Rules & Regulations are subject to change without further notice,  depending on the directions from the Govt. of Chile.

 

–          For legal validity in Chile, the documentation issued in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka must be previously legalized/ attested by the Legalization Officers from the respective Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which signatures must be recognized at the same time by this consular office.

 

–          For legal validity in Chile, the documentation issued in India must be previously apostilled by the correspondent authorities from the Ministry of External Affairs of India.
