JAVIER MATTA MANZANO
Professor of History and Geography (Universidad de Santiago de Chile), Master in International Studies (Universidad de Chile) and Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management (University of Adelaide, Australia). He graduated from the Diplomatic Academy in 1992 and has served in the Chilean Embassies in Singapore, Honduras, Croatia and Australia, and in the General Consulate in La Paz, Bolivia. In Chile he has worked in the departments of Human Resources, Environment, South America (Brazil desk), as well as in the General Administrative Department.
He has served at the Embassy of Chile in Brazil since September 2015. In charge of Science, Technology, Innovation (StartUp) and Energy, Scholarships, Social Networks, Bilateral and Triangular Cooperation, Education, Diplomatic Security and Relations with the Local Civil Community.
Functions as Consul of Chile in Brasilia, with jurisdiction over the Federal District and the States of Goiás, Mato Grosso and Tocantins exclusively.

JAIME CORTES-MONROY RED
Lawyer (U of Chile). Postgraduate studies in Public Law (University of Chile) and International Relations (University of Brasilia). He has served in the Chilean Embassies in Turkey, Croatia and Brazil. In Chile he has worked in the Directorates of Multilateral Affairs (United Nations Department) and Human Rights (Head of the Department of the Inter-American System).
He has served at the Embassy of Chile in Brazil since January 2016. Subjects under his responsibility: Foreign Policy, Multilateral Affairs, Antarctica, International Security, Human Rights, Relations with the Federal Congress, Health and Legal Affairs.
CHRISTIAN OSCHILEWSKI LUCARES
Degree in Social Communication and Journalism (Universidad de Chile), Master in Art History (Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez). He graduated from the Diplomatic Academy in 2003, with a scholarship from the Brazilian Government at the Rio Branco Institute (PROFA-I course 2004-2005), and received the 2018 Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage Award from Chile for his postgraduate thesis. He has carried out diplomatic functions in the Chilean Embassies in Cuba and Ireland.
In Chile, he has served in the Directorate of Special Policy, the Directorate of Planning, the Directorate of North, Central America and the Caribbean and the Directorate of European Affairs.
He has served at the Embassy of Chile in Brazil since February 2017. He is in charge of the bilateral relations with the Concurrent Embassies from Brazil in Chile, Cultural Affairs, Press, Ceremonial and Protocol.
DIEGO ARAYA CISTERNAS
Degree in History (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile). He graduated from the Diplomatic Academy in 2008. He has served at the Embassy of Chile in Egypt (2011-2013) and the Permanent Mission of Chile to the United Nations in New York (2013-2016), where he was part of the team formed to exercise the membership in the Security Council (2014-2015) as an expert on Middle East and non-proliferation issues.
In Chile, he has worked in the Directorate for the Middle East and Africa, as well as in the Directorate for Multilateral Affairs (Head of the United Nations Department).
He has served at the Embassy of Chile in Brazil since March 2018. In charge of economic-commercial issues, Brazilian foreign policy, Antarctic issues and multilateral affairs.
