Ambassador Marisio is an Economist who graduated from the University of Concepcion and a graduate of the Diplomatic Academy of Chile.
Abroad he has served at the Embassy of Chile in Peru and as Consul General of Chile in Lima. He also served at the Embassy of Chile in the United States, in charge of relations with the House of Representatives during the approval process of the Chile-US FTA.
He has also served at the Mission of our country to ALADI, as Deputy Chief of Mission in Uruguay, and as Consul of Chile and Secretary at the Consulate and Embassy of Chile to the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs he has served as Director General of Consular Affairs and Immigration; at the Special Policy Directorate; the Directorate General for Economic Affairs; the Directorate of South America; the Directorate General of Foreign Policy; and at the Office of the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, as adviser on economic matters.
In April 2014, the President of the Republic appointed him Ambassador and Director General of Consular Affairs and Immigration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile. He is Ambassador of Chile in Canada since June 15, 2016.
