The participation of the writer Zambra takes place thanks to the support of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs (in spanish DIRAC) of the Minsitry of Foreign Affairs of our country and the Embassy of Chile in Ireland. With his present visit to Dublin, the international presence of the writer is complemented, after he was nominated in 2012, for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.
In the current version of the Dublin International Literature Festival (2019), the events are open to all public and the participation of Alejandro Zambra is detailed below:
|• Thursday, 23rd May at 6pm, in the National Library of Ireland: Past, Present, Future.|
|• Friday, 24th May at 4pm, at the Trinity Center for Literary and Cultural Translation.|
It should be noted that, in addition to these activities, a "Literary Conversation" will also be organized with the noted national writer:
|• Wednesday, 22nd May at 6pm, at the Mackenna Room of the Embassy of Chile in Ireland. Free entry (with prior reservation).|
