Objectives and Tasks
Provide information, guidance and management to the public and private institutions that are part of the agricultural and forestry export industry of Chile, identifying also development opportunities, access and diversification on the Korean market. Should promote bilateral cooperation aimed at sharing experiences and technologies in the field of agriculture.
Defense the markets through the organization and implementation of measures to anticipate and detect any event relating to health, tariffs or commercial issues, which affects the normal development of Chilean agricultural exports to Korea and manage the necessary actions to restore normal conditions on trade.
Sra. Corina Baek Geu–rim
Technical Assistant in Agricultural Issues
Graduated from Seoul National University with a Bachelor Degree in Horticulture (1993-1997) and has obtained a Master's degree from the same University (1997-1999). She is a candidate for a PhD in Horticulture at the Seoul National University (1999-2011). Worked as a research assistant and teaching assistant in Seoul National University from 1997 to 2001. She speaks Korean and English and can interact at a high intermediate level in Spanish. Started working in the Embassy in October 2009.
Srta. Gracia Kim Min-kyoung
Has a Bachelor Degree in Spanish Language and Literature and in Business English at the Catholic University of Daegu (2006-2010). Previous work experienced as a secretary of the Dominican Republic Embassy (2009). Studied management and computer systems control in HIMEDIA Institute (2010). She has a proficiency in Korean, Spanish and English. She joined the Embassy in September 2009.
