Escrituras Públicas para ser usadas en Chile
1) Enviar a este Consulado el borrador del poder (redactado por un abogado chileno), vía correo electrónico a [email protected], en formato WORD. No se aceptan archivos en formato pdf, fotocopia, por correo normal o escaneo. El Consulado no se hace responsable por el texto del poder ni por errores ortográficos.
2) Una vez que llegue el mandato, y una vez que haya sido revisado y preparado para ser firmado, se le avisará a partir de cuándo puede venir a firmar y cuál es el costo.
3) El mandante deberá presentarse con Identificación válida y vigente la cual deberá ser la misma que aparece en el mandato. El pago es en efectivo.
4) Una vez en Chile, este documento debe ser llevado al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Departamento de Legalizaciones, donde se legalizará la firma del Cónsul General
Processing a Power of Attorney for Chile
1) Send in the draft (drafted by a Chilean Lawyer) via e-mail to [email protected], use only a Word format. We do not accept documents in other formats, i.e. pdf files, by regular mail, scans or copies of any other kind. The Consulate will not be responsible for the text on the draft or grammar errors.
2) Once received by the Consulate, and once the document has been reviewed and prepared for signature, you will receive notice of when you may come in to sign the document and what the cost is.
3) When coming to sign you must bring a proper and valid form of ID, the same one that is mentioned in the power of attorney. The payment is in cash.
4) Once in Chile, the document must be taken to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in order for the Consul’s signature to be verified and legalized.
