Description: Putting together the best of Chilean craftsmanship for the first time in the United Kingdom, the Chilean craft, human natures exhibition aims to shed light to the diversity of the know-how of crafts in this plural territory, inserted between the high Andes and the wild Pacific.

Fully integrating Nature within their artistic and technological processes, by notably using local raw materials, such as vegetal fibers growing near the lakes, earth from the Atacama Desert, specific stone from a river, copper from the mountains, those Chilean artisans give us exceptional handcrafted works, perfect balance between the esteem of the raw material and the cultural load of the making process.

Description: This is a series of paintings about Aysen in Chile."I had little prior knowledge of the region before travelling there and I decided to avoid too much searching on the internet, preferring instead to encounter the landscape at first hand. My immediate response was an admiration of the pristine environment; human intervention and infrastructure is minimal and contained"
Colin has exhibited throughout the UK and has also had solo exhibitions in Germany, Ireland, New York, Washington DC and Paris.

Valentina es abogado de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, con especialidad en Propiedad Intelectual.
Ex abogado asesor en la Secretaría de Donaciones Culturales del Ministerio de las Culturales, las Artes y el Patrimonio.
Actualmente se desempeña como Gerente General en Human Company Coaching.
Rosario Bellolio
Rosario es Magíster en Arts & Cultural Management de la universidad Kings College London.
Ha dedicado su carrera profesional a la producción y al financiamiento de proyectos culturales en organizaciones públicas y privadas en Chile y en Londres, Inglaterra.
Actualmente trabaja en el Institute of Fundraising como Coordinadora de RAISE: Arts, Culture & Heritage, un programa financiado por el Arts Council England, que tiene como objetivo apoyar a fundraisers del sector de las artes, la cultura y el patrimonio en Inglaterra.

Description: As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of this illustrious visit, the Embassy of Chile is proud to host the exhibition "Links that last: An exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Chile", curated by sociologist and photographer Iberia Torres Abelaira. Since 2015, Iberia has been researching the official visit of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh to Chile in 1968. The aim of the project is to celebrate this milestone in the context of British-Chilean friendship.

 Exhibition: 'Lord of the Sea: life and legacy of Thomas Cochrane'

Description: In the 200th year since Chile gained its independence and the founding of its navy, this exhibition brings together and celebrates two of Chile's most significant figures: Lord Thomas Cochrane and poet Pablo Neruda. Cochrane's radical political values were a strong draw for the poet of equal reputation. A century apart they are brought together to look anew at the life and legacy of Lord Thomas Cochrane through the work of Pablo Neruda and the impact Cochrane has had in South America and Great Britain.

Ricardo Alvarez Quartet Presenting the album 'Huay Not?'

Description: Ricardo Alvarez Quartet will be presenting their first album 'Huay Not?' including original compositions that explore the fusion between Latin American rhythms (especially from Northern Chile) and jazz. It's going to be their London debut after having successfully presented the album in a tour for Yorkshire jazz venues including Leeds, York and Scarborough this year. Ricardo Alvarez Quartet is led by Chilean saxophonist and composer Ricardo Alvarez and will be accompanied by Tom Riviere (bass), Cornelius Corkery (guitar) and John Settle (drums)
