11° Anniversary of unsolved murder in Berkeley of the Chilean citizen Adolfo Celedon

On September 12th, 2010, Chilean citizen Adolfo Celedon was murdered in Berkeley on the same day of his 35th birthday.

Since then, the Berkeley Police Department has been in charge of the ongoing investigation, but despite all its efforts, it remains unsolved, unfortunately. There is a $50K reward for information regarding the suspects responsible for Mr. Celedon’s murder.

The Consulate General of Chile in San Francisco expresses its profound appreciation for the work and proceedings carried out during this time by the Berkeley Police Department and we will continue to collaborate with the pertinent authorities as well consoling the family of Mr. Celedon for this terrible loss.

This crime is of high priority and a matter of concern to the Chilean Government. Thus, we request the community and witnesses of the assassination to provide to the Berkeley Police Department any information that will lead to solving this murder, so the family of Mr. Celedon can find the peace they deserve.
