Defence Attaché Office
The creation of the Defence Attaché Office in India originated in 2017 with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in Defence Matters between India and Chile. Among its objectives are considered the:
- Development and strengthening of relations between the Ministries of Defence and the Armed Forces of both countries.
- Exchange of experience and information on issues of mutual interest in order to enhance mutual confidence and international security.
- Generate professional exchanges, such as visits, courses, internships and the like.
- Represent the Commanders-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in protocol and official activities.
