Lucas Pavez Rosales
Graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of Chile "Andrés Bello" in 2018. Master's Degree in International Relations at the National University of La Plata, Argentina. History, Geography and Social Sciences Teacher, and Bachelor of History minor in Political Science at the Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile.
He is also an associate researcher at the Center for Korean Studies and the Center for Chinese Studies at the National University of La Plata.
In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, between January 2019 and January 2021 he was part of the cabinet of the Secretary-General for Foreign Policy.
In February 2021, he began duties at the Chilean Embassy in the Republic of Korea, where serves as head of the Consular Office. Along with this, is in charge of monitoring Korean Foreign and Internal Policy issues; Science and Technology; Culture; Academy; Parliamentary Affairs; FEALAC; Press and Social Networks.

Sra. Clara Paik Un-sung
Administrative Chief
Has studies in Faculty of Law, University of Buenos Aires, Argentina (1985-1987), and later studied Para-Legal Course at Los Angeles City College, USA (1989-1990). She graduated with a Bachelor in English Literature from the University of Sungsil (1993-1997) and is a qualified teacher of English (TESOL) Rennert Institute in New York, USA (2008). Has previous work experience in law firm William L. Land in the city of Los Angeles, USA (1990-1991) and in private companies in the U.S.A. She speaks Korean, Spanish and English and joined the embassy in 1992.
Responsabilities:
- Administrative matters such as official accreditation and franchises requests to the Ministry, local purchases, maintenance of inventory and fiscal property, protocol office procedures, relationships with local staff, etc.
- Accounting issues and accountabilities.
- Translations and interpretations.
Sr. Lucas Kim Sang-heon
Consulate Chancellor
Bachelor in Hispanic Philology at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul (1995-1999). Work as an interpreter for Protocolary activities and cultural events and as a free-lancer in KBS World Radio. Interpreter for the UN Peacekeeping Forces in East Timor (2001-2002). He speaks Spanish, Korean and English. Started working in the Embassy in 2004.
Responsabilities:
- Authorized to act as Attesting Officer and to grant and issue passports and visas.
- Responsible for Consular and Visa procedures.
- Customer services and to keep consular books up dated.
- Consular's Reports.
- Interpretation and Translation.
- In charge of the Consular's Account and Revenue Report.
- Contacts with the Chilean Community.
Sra. Estela Woo Jee–soo
Ambassador's Secretary
Bachelor in Hispanic Literature and Spanish Language at the University of Sunmoon (1998-2002). Master in Spanish Linguistics and Spanish Literature at Dankook University (2002-2004). Past work experience as Secretary of the Institute of Asia and Latin America, Dankook University. She speaks Korean, Spanish and English and has joined the Embassy in 2004.

- Coordinate the official agenda.
- Interpreter / Translator.
- Organize social activities.
- Protocolary Affairs.
- Contacts with authorities and VIPs' top executives.
